Jimmy Buffet in Sapele/Mahogany
Jimmy Buffet in Sapele/Mahogany
This piece gets it’s name from a play on words, names, and meanings. The pull out wings on this credenza adds 38’’ of counter space, great for large serving trays, crock pots, or any other serving dish. In others words, it is perfect when hosting a large “Buffet”… Get it?… Well, funny or not and for lack of a better name, Meet Jimmy Buffet.
The Details in this piece are what make it so unique.
It is Framed in solid hardwood (In this case Sapele/Mahogany) using tapered sliding dovetails and mortise and tenons. This gives the piece incredible strength and the beauty of the dovetails on the front of the piece.
The slide outs extend 19’’ and are very strong, strong enough for any serving dish or the heaviest of Crock Pots.
The top Itself is solid hardwood has breadboard ends with drawbore pins to keep the breadboards nice and tight and the top itself nice and flat.
The Six outer drawers feature Dovetail construction with curly maple drawer sides and sculpted drawer fronts.
